Power Supplies

All power supplies are connected to the PDB. Power is supplied from the PDB to the various components such as MCE and GENINE boards via the CAN Bus.

There are 4 power supplies for MCE devices:

PS1=CAN Bus, Pneumatics Unswitched 24V (166-00056)
Order kit 500-02643A to replace 166-00056 or 13-5094.
PS2=Carriage Motor Switched 48V (166-00058)
Order kit 500-02645A to replace 166-00058 or 13-5094.
PS3 (TH1.7 and TH2)=Write Laser Switched 48V (166-00057)
Order kit 500-02646A to replace 166-00057 or 13-4832.
PS3 (NEWS 200)=Write Laser Switched 48V (166-00059)
Order kit 500-02647A to replace 166-00059 or 13-4791.
PS4 (TH1.7)=Laser Logic Unswitched 48V (166-00057)
Order kit 500-02648A to replace 166-00057 or 13-4832.
PS4 (TH2)=Laser Logic Unswitched 48V (166-00059)
Order kit 500-02649A to replace 166-00059 or 13-4791.
PS4 (NEWS 200)=Laser Logic Unswitched 48V (13-5165)

Safety Loop

When servicing the device, a Power Box Disconnect Switch Service Override tool (15-3526) is needed to turn the power on when the inner access panel has been removed.
