Carriage Stalling: Lost Head Communications

Component	Carriage

Problem	There are dependencies in the firmware between the carriage, head, drum and encoder. HDM and HDP parameters are stored in the head, so if head communications are lost after powering up, the firmware may get confused.

Symptoms	The head loses communication with the MPE board, and then the carriage stalls.

Solution	If head communications are not working, set "sys hi" (head installed) to 0.
