Thermal2 Command
sys fault state

Description Determine the fault state. System faults will monitor the state of the system and if required, abort plots in progress or block the launching of plots. System faults only represent a fraction of the fault conditions that the exposure head will detect. However, other fault conditions can only be detected while a plot is in progress.

The system faults that will abort plots in progress or block the launching of plots are as follows:
  • Safety Loop
  • Control Board Temperature
  • Focus Driver Temperature
  • +5 Volts
  • +3.3 Volts
  • -5 Volts
  • +40 Volts
  • +15 Volts
  • Data Cable
  • Stroke Clock

Note that the monitor command sys fault will display the fault configuration and the monitor command sys fault <point> (on|off) will configure the fault mask's.

Notes Thermal 1.0 / 1.7x equivalents:
  • The monitor command sys fault state does not have an equivalent.
