Thermal2 Parameter
sys powerloop

Description Specifies whether the exposure head will monitor the write laser power during plotting.

If the write laser power control loop is enabled ( this NVS parameter is true ), the exposure head will monitor the write laser power during plotting. After setting the write laser power using the beam-balance sensor, the exposure head will maintain a constant laser power during plotting. The exposure head maintains a constant laser power by adjusting the laser current to maintain the M8 sensor reading corresponding to the initial beam-balance sensor reading.

If the write laser power control loop is disabled ( this NVS parameter is false ), the exposure head will not monitor the write laser power during plotting. After setting the write laser power using the beam-balance sensor, the exposure head will maintain a constant write laser current during plotting.
