If the device name you are looking for does not appear here, it is not supported. This means that connectivity between the device and Prinergy Evo is not guaranteed, and is up to the customer to support. If you have questions about a specific device, please see the Prinergy Evo Escalation page.

Imposition Proofing Devices

You cannot send imposition PJTF or JDF files directly to proofing devices, they must first be output via an Output Imposition process template.

Page Proofing devices

Connectivity information for third-party proofing devices is based on the assumption that the third-party proofing device is already installed, configured, and running properly.

Alternative workflow for non-supported single page proofing devices:

If the workflow contains a non-supported page proofing device that is connected on the network, Prinergy Evo creates a digital master PDF file that can be used as a soft proof, or alternatively, from Adobe Acrobat you can print the PDF file to the proofing device to create a content proof.

  1. In Prinergy Evo, refine the input file to PDF.
  2. Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.
  3. From Adobe Acrobat, send the PDF file to the proofing device. 

Important: You cannot send Preps imposition PJTF or JDF files directly to proofing devices. They must first be output via a Prinergy Evo output process template workflow.

Note: Vector output is not supported in Prinergy Evo 1.0.
