The BartPE utility is a Microsoft Windows 2003 operating system software preboot environment in .iso format, with support for all Dell and HP networks and RAIDs. Dell^® PowerEdge™ PE2900 servers are the first platforms that Kodak has shipped with 4 GB of RAM installed as the standard configuration. If the server or workstation is running the Microsoft^® Windows^® 2000 operating system, only 3,407 MB or so of installed RAM will be indicated, although the BIOS and Server Administrator will show the full 4 GB. In August 2005, the US government passed the Energy Policy Act of 2005, effective in 2007, to lengthen the time period for Daylight Saving Time (DST), starting three weeks earlier on the second Sunday in March and ending one week later on the first Sunday in November. In some systems, a newly-installed dongle will use Sentinel driver version 5.41 instead of version 5.42, which is the version configured in the baseline image. This causes applications such as Prinergy, Prinergy Evo, and Print Console, which use the Sentinel driver to communicate with the dongle, to consume large amounts of CPU time and the server locks up.
