Installing an Autoloader Ready (AL-Ready) Trendsetter VLF

It takes one day to install an AL-Ready Trendsetter VLF shipped new from the factory.

Notes:

• Installation of a manual Trendsetter VLF assembled in the factory and shipped to a customer for future upgrade to a full Autoloader. The VLF Trendsetter will already be equipped with the Autoloader load table, p-door with y-axis, guard rail, and internal cabling.
• These procedures are designed only as a guide to assist field engineers. It is assumed that any person installing a Trendsetter VLF and/or AL options has completed Creo training on the product.

Installation Procedures

1. Check the site preparation
2. Unpack & position
3. Install the base Trendsetter VLF
4. Install the imaging head. See the Thermal Head installation page.
5. Install skins and guard rail
6. Clean up
7. Install the Workstation
8. Test the system (not yet available)
9. Align the head. See the Head Installation procedure(doc #77-0074A)
10. Configure the system.
11. Complete the Installation Test Procedure (ITP): for Print Console
12. Train the operator. See the Operator checklist.

Note: This checklist must only be used as a reference sheet for those who are fully trained and experienced with installation of the VLF TS AL system.
