CTP Feature Licensing Upgrade Overview provides a quick overview and summary of the general process for upgrading to CTP Feature Licensing (CFL). It is posted on the Reference page and also under the upgrades heading on the Procedures pages for devices that use CFL.

Three new troubleshooting items have been added to the Troubleshooting page:

• Creo Feature Licensing Manager shows wrong customer Dongle ID
• Creo Feature Licensing Manager shows no customer Dongle ID
• Flash memory write error 36508 and CFL:WARNING: Feature licensing communication failed

A new version of the configuration checker script that works with Service Shell 2.6 to 3.0 is available from the Downloads page. Run this script remotely to verify a device license.

A new troubleshooting item has been posted on the Troubleshooting page. This item describes different methods for enabling a service license when the customer's workstation does not support USB.

The new CFL Setup Guide has been posted on the Procedures page. The Feature licenses section of this page has also been updated with instructions for ordering a customer device license in cases where the license is missing from the CFL web generator database.

Instructions for Linking a customer dongle ID with a license have also been added to the Procedures page.

A new version (3.0.17) of the Service Dongle Manager (SDM) is available from the Downloads page. This release contains the following new features:

• Kodak employees vs dealer-trained engineers: allows dealers to renew their license without accessing the Kodak intranet
• Automatic configuration: server settings automatically set based on type of installation
• Improved GUI
• Updated help documentation: Please read for important new details

Note: All Kodak employees should install SDM as a "Kodak workstation."
