Since Brisque 5.1 has proven to be more stable and reliable than version 5.0, we recommend that customers upgrade to Brisque 5.1 as soon as possible. Following the release of Brisque 5.1 to Final Production (FP), the Product Development group will discontinue the support of Brisque 5.0. As previously announced, we are committed to supporting Brisque for many years to come. Support for Brisque 5.1 and Brisque 4.1 will continue until July 1, 2011. We will also continue to provide a development team to release software patches and updates as necessary.

Due to the Brisque 5.0.x problem where user screen sets are incorrectly saved, it is critical that you either run the new v51Ready.tar (dated Nov 6, 2006), or load the SaveScreen4ver5061.tar.Z patch as part of the migration to Brisque 5.1. The same result is achieved with either option and you can choose whichever option is easier for you. See user screen sets are not saved for details.
