The Duplicate RSM utility merges the RSM database from one system to another. It is useful for migrating the RSM database from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003, for moving the Prinergy Archiver JTP from one server to another, and for creating a live backup of the RSM database.

The tool and a readme file are available on the Downloads page.

The List Tapes and Pools utility locates the media pools and the tapes associated with each media pool. It is useful you must rebuild the RSM database from scratch. The tool and a readme file are available on the Downloads page.

The Prinergy 3.1.0.5 minor update has been removed from eCentral and TechPlanet because of a problem where the Mac Workshop installer on the server could be incomplete after the upgrade. A new 3.1.0.5c update will be posted in the near future. Workarounds for customers who have already installed 3.1.0.5 and who are having problems are available on the Downloads page.

In August 2005 the US government passed the Energy Policy Act of 2005, effective in 2007, to lengthen the time period for Daylight Saving Time (DST), starting three weeks earlier on the second Sunday in March and ending one week later on the first Sunday in November. Extended Daylight Savings Implications for Prinergy is available on the Reference page.

The Kodak Prinergy 3.x Rehosting Tool automates the process of rehosting a Prinergy 3.x server and is for use only by Kodak personnel. This tool will not be included in any minor update. To use it, you must download and install it from TechPlanet. The rehosting tool, WebEx overview, and installation/operating procedure are available on the Downloads page.

The Kodak System Check Tool collects all software and system information and attaches this information to an escalation call. The tool can be used by customers or Kodak personnel. The Kodak System Check Tool will be included in Prinergy 3.1.0.5 and later and can be used with older versions of Prinergy. The System Check Tool Technical Bulletin explains how to install and run the tool, how to view the files, and the structure of the HTML and compressed files. Both are available on the Downloads page.

Nettest.exe is a fast, first-check tool for measuring network performance between two servers in the same configuration. If a problem is found, further diagnosis can be performed using Netperf.exe (located in the support\bin folder on all Prinergy servers). Nettest.exe is included in Prinergy 3.1.0.5 and later (in the support\bin folder) and can be used with older versions of Prinergy. Nettest.exe is available on the Downloads page.
